The US Department of the Interior has approved Anfield Energy Inc's Velvet-Wood uranium-vanadium project in San Juan County, Utah, after the Bureau of Land Management completed its review of the project in less than 14 days.

France's Orano has announced that Nigerien authorities have withdrawn the operating permit for the Imouraren uranium mine, which was issued to its subsidiary Imouraren SA in 2009.

Namibia's Ministry of Mines and Energy has issued a mining licence to Deep Yellow Ltd for the Tumas uranium project. The company says it is aiming to make a final investment decision on the project in the third quarter of 2024.
