US-origin HEU returned from South Africa
A shipment of highly-enriched uranium (HEU) from South Africa's Safari 1 research reactor has been returned to the USA. It is the latest milestone in the reactor's conversion to using low-enriched uranium (LEU) fuel.

TVA progresses with mPower project
Generation mPower - a partnership between Babcock & Wilcox and Bechtel - has signed a letter of intent with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) which defines the project plans for constructing up to six small modular reactors at a site in Tennessee.
