Russian designs for underwater nuclear power plant in Arctic
A project for a submersible underwater power module, featuring two nuclear power units with a total capacity of 20 MWe, that can dive to a depth of 400 metres and provide energy in Arctic regions is being worked on by the Malakhit Marine Engineering Bureau in St Petersburg, Russia.

Seaborg switches fuel plans because of HALEU timeline risks
The Danish developer of floating Compact Molten Salt Reactors, Seaborg, has decided to change the fuel type for the initial power barges to low-enriched uranium "due to the risks associated with developing a sufficient supply of high-assay low-enriched uranium" to meet its planned timeline.

Russian export push for floating nuclear power plants
State nuclear power company Rosatom has signed an agreement with TSS Group to create a joint venture for the construction of a series of floating power units "with a capacity of at least 100 MWe and an assigned service life of up to 60 years for foreign markets and the subsequent sale of electricity from the floating power unit in the countries of presence".
