Merger to fast-track Turkish uranium project
A US uranium processing plant could be shipped to Turkey to fast-track uranium production under a newly announced merger of Uranium Resources Inc with Australian uranium and exploration company Anatolia Energy, owner of the Temrezli uranium project.

Uranium Resources agrees to New Mexico sales to Energy Fuels
Uranium Resources has entered into a letter of intent with Energy Fuels for the purchase and exchange of certain uranium properties in New Mexico. Under the LOI, Uranium Resources has agreed to transfer ownership of its Roca Honda project.

Russian parliament outlines state support for U mining
The agrarian committee of Russia's Federation Council has approved measures aimed at providing state incentives to the country's uranium mining industry, Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), the uranium mining arm of state nuclear corporation Rosatom, said yesterday. The Federation Council is the upper chamber of the Federal Assembly, the upper house of the Russian parliament.
