Swiss utilities face waste hike
The Swiss cabinet has proposed a raise in targets for waste and decommissioning funds that would lead to a hike of some 76% in annual utility contributions next year. A consultation is being launched this month.

Decommissioning institute formed in Japan

Bradwell welcomes falcon chicks

Dounreay waste retrieval deal
UK-based engineering company James Fisher Nuclear has won a £5 million ($7.6 million) contract for the retrieval and processing of radioactive waste from a 65-metre deep shaft and a wet silo at the Dounreay site.
