Paks expansion project gets contract boost
UPDATED
The project company set up to oversee the expansion of the Paks nuclear power plant in Hungary today signed three “implementation agreements” with Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod Engineering Company Atomenergoproekt for two new 1200 MWe nuclear power reactors.

Paks unit 2 gets 20-year life extension
Hungary's National Atomic Energy Office has issued a licence to extend the operating life of unit 2 of the Paks nuclear plant by 20 years until 31 December, 2034. Unit 1 was granted a similar licence in 2012.

Damaged Paks fuel sent to Russia
