Construction of nitride fuel plant underway

Rostov 3 primary circuit tests
Water tightness tests of the reactor vessel and main circulation system are underway at unit 3 of Russia's Rostov nuclear power plant. The unit is scheduled to start operating later this year.

Russia, Iran discuss further reactors
Russia and Iran have reportedly reached a preliminary agreement for the construction of two more units at the Bushehr nuclear power plant. The first unit at Bushehr, completed by Russia, is already in full operation.

Express delivery for new nuclear plant
The first steam generator has been delivered to a new nuclear reactor at Novovoronezh. The 430 tonne component arrived on a specially designed articulated train carriage.

Tenders for Russian submarine fuel removal
Suppliers are being sought by Russia for equipment to handle and transport used nuclear submarine fuel currently stored at Andreeva Bay. Such fuel has been stored at the site for over 50 years.

Finance deal for new Paks units
