The acceptance of Toro Energy's offer for Nova Energy by major shareholder Agincourt Resources has brought the proposed merger of the two uranium exploration companies closer. Toro now holds 60.24% of Nova, and is offering 5.5 of its shares for every Nova share. Nova shareholders have until 12 October to accept the offer. As well as exploring for uranium in Australia, both companies also have African uranium interests.
