New head for CNNC

The Chinese central government has decided on a replacement for Kang Rixin as head of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC). The current deputy director of the National Energy Board, Sun Qin, is to resign from that post and take over at CNNC because Kang 'had been involved in a serious disciplinary matter'. This comes nine days after the announcement of an investigation into Kang, of which no details have been released.
