Fluor creates nuclear power business unit

[Fluor, 22 March] Fluor Corp has formed a new business unit specifically to address the next generation of nuclear power plants worldwide. The new unit, within its Power Group, will be based at Fluor's office in Greenville, South Carolina, USA. Fluor provides engineering, procurement, construction, operations, maintenance and project management services. David Constable, president of Fluor's Power Group, said "This new business line will position Fluor as a leading player in constructing new nuclear power generation facilities." He added, "We intend to vigorously pursue nuclear new build and capital projects in the United States, United Kingdom and around the world."
