Nuclear could help Singapore meet climate goals, says EMA
Nuclear energy could help Singapore's power sector achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, according to a new report from the island city-state's Energy Market Authority. It says nuclear energy could supply around 10% of Singapore's energy needs.

Singapore to stay 'engaged' in nuclear
Nuclear power remains an option for the city-state of Singapore, despite a current focus on increasing security of gas imports and managing power demand. Minister for trade and industry S Iswaran said investment will continue "to learn and understand the technology".

Nuclear not currently an option for Singapore
Deployment of nuclear power is not on the agenda for Singapore at the moment, delegates at the World Nuclear Fuel Cycle conference in the city heard this week. The island city-state has few options for low-carbon power.
