UK fusion scientists secure new funding despite Brexit
The UK and the European Commission signed a contract extension today for the world’s largest fusion research facility, Joint European Torus. The extension secures at least EUR100 million (USD112 million) in additional inward investment from the EU over the next two years and "brings reassurance" for the more than 500 staff at the site in Culham, near Oxford, the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy said.

Korean companies team up for overseas I&C projects
An agreement to jointly participate in overseas nuclear digital instrumentation and control projects has recently been signed between Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction. Both companies were involved in the development of the Korean Digital I&C system.

South Korea and UAE seek cooperation beyond Barakah
The leaders of South Korea and the United Arab Emirates have said the two countries will seek opportunities to cooperate in the field of nuclear energy beyond their current collaboration on the Barakah nuclear power plant project. This will include opportunities in third countries.

Four US companies chosen for Mo-99 production funding

India, Argentina further cooperation in nuclear energy
India and Argentina have agreed to boost cooperation in the nuclear energy sector with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on 18 February by India's Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership and Argentina’s National Atomic Energy Commission during Argentine President Mauricio Macri's state visit to Delhi this week.
