World needs large and small reactors, Association says
World Nuclear Association has called on policymakers to accelerate the development and commercialisation of small modular reactors as well as fast-tracking the deployment of large-scale reactors in a policy paper released today. A global effort towards establishing a sustainable energy system - with the electricity sector at the heart of it - is under way, and the need for clean, abundant and affordable electricity is widely recognised, it says.
