Hot testing of second Taipingling unit completed

Tests that simulate the temperatures and pressures which the reactor systems will be subjected to during normal operation have been completed at unit 2 of the Taipingling nuclear power plant. The unit is the second of six HPR1000 (Hualong One) units planned at the site in China's Guangdong province.

Helion begins work on fusion power plant

Fusion energy developer Helion Energy announced it has begun initial earthwork and construction on the site of Orion power plant in Malaga, in the US state of Washington. The plant will provide electricity to technology company Microsoft.
